Interview

  • If you have to pick one thing that everyone else should absolutely know about you, what would it be?
I'm a true cancer--hard Yang shell, soft Ying underbelly. The true mark of a whole man is how in touch he is with his heart; how practical he is in business and how much he can let himself go when he's been creative. An integrated man is both a King and a lover (not to mention a warrior and a magician!).
  • What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your spare time?
Watch too many movies! Love those zombies, GOT and horror. Lately I've been into reading about archetypes. Did "The Mankind Project" in April 2017; it was life-changing.
  • How do you go that ‘extra mile' in your life?
I try to learn new ways of making and mixing music by watching tutorials. Sometimes I love to perform live.
  • What do you do for fun?
Make music, mix music and write poetry. Unnicycling is fun as hell and also takes a lot of courage to do.
  • Tell us what you consider to be your greatest life experience.
    I won the lotto!
  • What makes you stand out from the crowd?
    Being me.
  • What are your greatest personal traits?
    My strength and my spirit.
  • What is your ‘niche’?
Hot Daddy, Bad Daddy; or the sensual, integrated masculine/trans man...
  • How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or you are more of a homebody?
I love traveling but am equally comfortable at home.
  • What kind of diet and fitness regiment do you follow?
Biking, unicycling, physical therapy for my shoulder, Apostherapy for my back. I love fish and salads, occasional junk food. I also do Chinese herbs and Black Seed oil, and the Bud Wig diet for maximum health (prostate in particular).
  • What’s your lifestyle? What makes you who you are?
I'm writing a novella which I hope to publish upon completion; I also work out and meditate every day. Being outdoors and active (bike-riding) is a tremendous release. I do wish I wasn't do addicted to watching horror movies. I also try to practice three days a week of not drinking red wine (which I love). That's challenging but necessary as I don't like to be addicted to anything (except being alive!).
  • What would you like your followers to know about you that is unique and even a bit personal?
I'm utterly unique. And I treasure my gold as much as I treasure my shadow. I love who I am and I love men and women and New York. I also treasure my solitude and making music and matching beats. I've lived here a long time and come to accept the fact (radically if necessary) that change is all we can be sure of. I was never ever a Chelsea boy type and I think I've always at heart been a unique East Village type; a musician, an actor, a performance artist and my own man. I still love the neighborhood, though I miss the ocean and sometimes those green, rolling cornfields of the Midwest (I was born in Illinois). The city is a great place to do massage people and constantly explore and evolve and work on oneself, and meet new people who are also evolving and on their journey. Omnamashivya means I worship the highest within myself--which is pretty much my mantra. It's always a challenge to have compassion for myself and others and kindness if you can make it happen; can create magic.
  • If you and I were on the beach having some wine and great food, what would you tell me about yourself.
How grateful I was to be sharing this moment with you; for really, all we truly have is this moment now. Although at times I think technology is trying to even steal that away from being human!
  • What should others absolutely know about you?
I mean you no harm and I'm a very sensual man.
  • What do you enjoy most about yourself?
My musicality and my ability to laugh at myself and write. Also, I'm constantly learning from other men. Male energy renews me and reaffirms my love of life, people, places and things.
  • Name 5 things that you can’t live without.
Health, nature, music, men and faith in something beyond me that is infinite.
