Interview

  • What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your spare time?
    Spare time. What’s that?
  • How do you go that ‘extra mile' in your life?
I am a perfectionist. When I get into a project or new eandeavor that I’m really into I almost obsess entirely. But mostly it’s my worth ethic that propels me.
  • What do you do for fun?
I’ll waste hours at the barn, fussing over the horses work with, drinking beer and getting sun. I do love a good beach. Being out in the natural beauty of the world is important to me. But living in LA last two years has made getting there tough.
  • Tell us what you consider to be your greatest life experience.
My best experience in life was working in horse racing track maintenance in New Mexico. I handled horses in the horse ambulance, worked harder than ever using my hands and had to integrate/socialize with the crew (people of all backgrounds, races and ages). It taught me I’m not afraid of being out of my element & that I can do many things. Not just porn or being hired for my looks.
  • What makes you stand out from the crowd?
I’m most understanding of why people are who they are. I accept that we all have needs and wants and those are specific to us. I have no time to gossip. I don’t listen to the mean things people say about others. I’ve been a target of negativity most of my media life & I’ve learned that most of that time those people saying mean things are projecting/deflecting their issues into others. I am forthright and genuine.
  • What are your greatest personal traits?
My greatest talent is my good energy. When I’m balanced and prepared I am charming, encouraging and passionate.
  • How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or you are more of a homebody?
I don’t travel often at all. I haven’t traveled for myself, for fun, in . . . I can’t remember how long. I love being at home and making my place unique. But being able to see the world has always been an unlikely possibility.
  • What’s your lifestyle? What makes you who you are?
I spend way too much time around the horses. I struggle sometimes to want to be in the middle of Gay Town, USA. I am grateful for what BC has given me. In WeHo or SF or Boystown I am always reminded of how much further it could’ve taken me. Getting around other gay men that are interested in my life story or experiences as an adult media figure is pleasant but a reminder of that.
  • What would you like your followers to know about you that is unique and even a bit personal?
I wanted to be an architect. I love buildings and refurbishing living spaces. I love fixing things. I wanted to go to school to become an equine “healer” (trainer that works with troubled horses and people to help manage the fear/anxiety so they can free up their mind and start learning & doing)
  • If you and I were on the beach having some wine and great food, what would you tell me about yourself.
If talk about . . . How after 13 years in media (adult and LGBT non porn media) working as talent, producer, director: I still feel like I haven’t accomplished what I set out to do. I’ve always longed to be a part of something greater than my single self. Running a new successful studio, managing an equestrian facility, or making more features. However, working in front of the camera is of least interest to me anymore.
  • What should others absolutely know about you?
Yes. I am THE Brent Corrigan. But I prefer my legal name - and please when we meet - let’s try not to spend an hour talking about me. I truly do love getting around all walks of life. This environment offers that.
  • What do you enjoy most about yourself?
I enjoy being able to integrate and work into most social environments without feeling fear or being awkward. I’m at-ease in some of the most unusual places and off-beat/alt minded people. “One of us” so to speak . . .
  • Name 5 things that you can’t live without.
Five things I can’t live without are . . . 1) the opportunity to try & do new things 2) the relationships I’ve cultivated with my family & friends 3) the talent of perception and my capacity for empathy 4) my drive & determination 5) horses.
