  • What makes you stand out from the crowd?
When facing a challenge, I never give up, not on me, not on you. I don't always suceed, but I do always give it my all.
  • What do you do for fun?
Dancing amidst a sea of shirtless gay men is nirvana....
of course there's so much more, great artworks, political actions for social change, helping others, keeping my home beautiful, dinner parties, live performances, a great movie, sitting on a beach, exploring new places, reading a great book (both fiction or non fiction),and of course great sex...there's so much.
  • What kind of diet and fitness regiment do you follow?
I love food and to cook and to eat at fine restaurants, and sample local foods not necessarily expensive. good food is good food, whatever, wherever. smallish portions is what keeps me in control. and I do like activity, so gym 3-5 or more times a week is fun for me, not a trudge.
  • If you and I were on the beach having some wine and great food, what would you tell me about yourself.
If interested, you might hear my rather unbelievable life story from Leave to Beaver midwestern family, to child star, to homeless teenager, to ivy league university student, to American in Paris, to NYC club kid, to poltical activist, to married man, to happy settled artist.
  • What do you enjoy most about yourself?
Am resilient. Life has had many twists and turns for me, like it has for many, and I keep moving forward, focusing on the positives - there are so many!
  • What’s your lifestyle? What makes you who you are?
Athletic, educated, do it yourself-er. Many interest including travel, especially abroad.
  • If you have to pick one thing that everyone else should absolutely know about you, what would it be?
Tree hugging Democrat here. Love community and do what I can to help.
  • What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to read, write, oil paint, dance, go to opera, concerts, museums, walk, swim, surf, scuba, cook, sex.....there's never enough time in the day, but I'm not in a rush. Everything to it's time.
  • Tell us what you consider to be your greatest life experience.
New Years Eve Paris 1985 - my friend Jean Pierre threw a masquerade party, themed Marie Antoinette, and of course 100 or so gays and straights in the arts showed up in fabulous creative extreme costumes. At midnight he blasted the Blue Danube Waltz and we paired up and waltzed through his enormous apartment in the Marais until the end of the song. Everyone had an amazing time. I'll never forget it.
  • Name 5 things that you can’t live without.
#1 New York City (the greatest place in the world), #2 my wirehaired mini dachshund - he has a Facebook page, #3 art - art in its many varieties makes life so much richer, #4 great food - I love to cook and have friends over for dinner, #5 getting away to a beach from time to time.
