Interview

  • If you and I were on the beach having some wine and great food, what would you tell me about yourself.
If we are on the beach I hope it's in the evening or we have a lot of shade, because despite growing up on the coast in QLD I am pale and pasty and burn easily - probably why I moved all the way to sunny Melbourne!

I'd tell you that I don't drink so you can enjoy all the wine, no need to share. Anything else will reveal itself in the course of our conversation. I can come off initially as a bit aloof but take the time and I am an open book.
  • Name 5 things that you can’t live without.
I mean apart from the necessities for survival.... I am a mummies boy (she lives in another state so not that much of a mummies boy), but life without my mum would be hard; laughter is important, I have a twisted sense of humour, I'm that one person laughing in a movie theatre when everyone else around me is silent. Apart from that there are other things I may like and enjoy but I can live without a lot.
  • If you have to pick one thing that everyone else should absolutely know about you, what would it be?
I don't know... What would you guys like to know about me?
  • What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your spare time?
I'm going to sound like a 1950's housewife here - move over Martha Stewart - but I love to read, to cook and sew.
  • How do you go that ‘extra mile' in your life?
I guess it depends on the situation and what the 'extra mile' may be but I always try to give my all, I try to look around me and understand the context I am in and what I can bring that is special.
  • What do you do for fun?
I love to go to the gym, you can often find me singing along to whatever track is playing in the middle of whatever class I am taking.

I love to cook, feeding people for me is a way to show love and care, it's about opening your home to someone, making them feel welcome and taking the time and effort to make something for them.
  • Tell us what you consider to be your greatest life experience.
Any time I get to spend in NYC is a great experience.
  • What makes you stand out from the crowd?
    My hats!
  • What are your greatest personal traits?
I think my greatest person traits are that I am thoughtful, considerate and generous. I always say I have never accused of being 'nice' but 'nice' is superficial and there are more important things in life than a shiny exterior.
  • What is your ‘niche’?
hmm, my 'niche' ..... I give a relaxing massage and great head, I don't know if that qualifies as a 'niche' how about you guys let me know what you think my 'niche' is?
  • How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or you are more of a homebody?
I love to travel, especially for work as you interact with a city in a different way when you are there working than how you do as a tourist.
  • What kind of diet and fitness regiment do you follow?
I go to the gym every, I love a HITT class, i try to eat well but have a weakness for carbs!
  • What’s your lifestyle? What makes you who you are?
I think I have a personality that is equal parts scientific and ordered very logical and regimented and also extremely creative and inventive. These traits define so much about me and how i see the world and interact with it
  • What would you like your followers to know about you that is unique and even a bit personal?
Oh this is a hard one. I guess i really care about the experience I am giving someone, weather it is a meal that I have cooked them, the way i welcome them into my home and open myself up to them
  • What should others absolutely know about you?
That I'm actually a really caring and generous person with a bit of a hard external shell
  • What do you enjoy most about yourself?
I love my creative and inquiring mind
