Interview

  • If you have to pick one thing that everyone else should absolutely know about you, what would it be?
    I'm weird.
  • What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy reading memoirs, completing puzzles, and people watching. I have a great ability to figure someone out with very little information to work with.
  • How do you go that ‘extra mile' in your life?
I try to go the extra mile each day, not just in life. If I go the extra mile each day then I go to bed every night having a sense of true accomplishment.
  • What do you do for fun?
    Fun? What is fun?
  • Tell us what you consider to be your greatest life experience.
The best experience in my life was making friends with Lou Maletta in my NYC days. Lou was the owner and CEO of the Gay Cable Network (GCN), a television network that streamed to homes in Manhattan. Lou was like a father to me and he kept me under his wing even when my wings were broken. I will forever cherish that man even though he is gone now. RIP Lou Maletta, you will forever have a place in my heart and you will always be missed. If Lou were around today, he would look at me with a huge grin under his mustache and say "Ah! Go off and take no prisoners!"
  • What makes you stand out from the crowd?
These questions are all alike...HA. Other people I know are kind, sweet, and nice but they can be naïve. It's important to never forget your street smarts yet balance them with your book smarts.
  • What are your greatest personal traits?
My greatest attribute is my intelligence. Boasting aside, I'm quite smart and have an IQ greater than the average bear. I specialize in completing puzzles, word games, and stupid mathematical equations (algebra and calculus were always my favorite and most excelled subjects in school).
  • What is your ‘niche’?
I have many: sex, money, and finance are my top three.
  • How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or you are more of a homebody?
I love to travel. I've been in many countries and love the various cultures. If I have a choice though, it's to stay at home and make the most of my time with my loved ones surrounding me.
  • What kind of diet and fitness regiment do you follow?
I just try to watch what I eat. As far as fitness, I put on a pair of sneakers and go walking until I can't walk any more, usually about 12 or so miles. I used to be a competitive runner, but father time has decided that running is no longer in my deck of cards.
  • What would you like your followers to know about you that is unique and even a bit personal?
My mom is currently battling state 4 terminal lung cancer, which has aggressive metasticized (spelling?). I recently uprooted myself 700 miles to be at her side. Although she hasn't let us yet, I make an initiative to pay weekly visits and show support however and whenever possible. I know the day will come, and probably soon, that she won't be around. At least I know that I was here to experience this precious time with her, and this moment in time is truly invaluable to me.
  • If you and I were on the beach having some wine and great food, what would you tell me about yourself.
My life has been full of highs and lows, expectations and questions, spicy yet bland. We can always try to figure what in our past worked and what didn't work, but what matters most is how we march ahead and always hope for the best. Essentially, even though we attempt the best, the worst is always a possibility, whether we like it or not. Just always hope for the best yet prepare for the worst.
  • What should others absolutely know about you?
I was born a Leo on the cusp of Virgo, so I like to remain in control but with a great deal of strategy and intelligence. All through school, from elementary to high school, I consistently earned A's on my report cards and went to a private college in Pennsylvania on scholarship (to which I consistently placed on the Dean's List). My family and I are hyper competitive with regard to board games, especially Monopoly. I always carry cash on hand because I really dislike living in an society based on electronic payment systems. My 14 year old hound dog was recently euthanized for having strokes, which is an emotion I struggle with daily. My latest traffic violation was more than ten years ago (running a stop sign). My favorite color is sky blue, and that is not because I lived in North Carolina. I used to have a major substance abuse issue, which is now kept under control and hopefully I never return to that lifestyle (believe me when I say the drug controls YOU). I was an exchange student to Northern England as a junior in high school. And finally: My favorite food is cheeseburgers with American cheese, tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, and mayonnaise. Now you know me.....
  • What do you enjoy most about yourself?
I most enjoy my intellect. Physically I'm just another guy, but heartfelt companionship can make a world of a difference. Being able to connect on an emotional level and enveloping yourself in a heartfelt conversation full of logic and understanding can go so much farther than six or seven inches down a throat or up a butt.
  • Name 5 things that you can’t live without.
That's easy: Popcorn, puppies, penises, paychecks, and porn. :)
