Interview

• How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or you are more of a homebody?
  I love traveling and seeing new places. I don't get the chance to as often as I'd like but I'm hoping to change that in the near future!
• How do you go that ‘extra mile' in your life?
  I like to challenge myself as much as possible in life, it keeps things interesting. I'm always looking for new ways to express myself. Mostly through new creative projects. Right now I'm learning more about screen-printing and clothing design.
• What do you do for fun?
  I love spending time with friends in my free time. I'm big on sunshine and take advantage of the short time we get it here in Portland. Going to the river, the nude beach, camping trips, or having a few beers in the back yard. The best part of spending a day in the sun is lounging on the couch afterwards with a good movie and some food. I love shopping too. I think my favorite thing to shop for is probably underwear.
• Tell us what you consider to be your greatest life experience.
  That's a hard one! There are a few that are tied for me honestly. One of them was my cross country road trip from Florida to Portland. Another one was my first trip to NYC. It's hard to know if there is actually one best experience though.
• What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your spare time?
  I love finding new spots to hang out at. On days off I like to ride my bike around town or go on hikes and find secluded places to write or take photos in. I also love finding and listening to new music, and going to the gym.
• If you and I were on the beach having some wine and great food, what would you tell me about yourself.
  First thing I'd tell you is you picked the perfect date for me because the beach, wine, and food are some of my favorite things. I'd tell about some of my favorite places and the ones I want to visit someday. I've collected a lot of good stories for my age and I love to share them over a few drinks.
• What do you enjoy most about yourself?
  My ability to fit comfortably into many different social situations. I think I'm kind of like a chameleon in that way. I like getting to know lots of different types of people.
• Name 5 things that you can’t live without.
  First thing that comes to mind is my bike! That's a big one for me. I bike everywhere, and love long rides in nice weather. I also love my favorite pair of leather boots, photography, the beach, and hiking.
